Remembering A 100% Awesome Dude

One year.

A lot happens in one year. There are holiday’s to be celebrated, first days of school to get ready for, favorite sports teams to be watched, goodnight kisses to be had and birthday’s to celebrate another year.

It’s hard to imagine he wasn’t here.

It was one year ago today that our 100% Awesome Dude,  Evan, lost his battle with DIPG.

Today his family, friends, neighborhood, school and community will remember Evan and his impish smile, the twinkle in his eye, his sense of humor, his “can do” attitude.

Today isn’t to relive how he left us, it is to remember all he gave us- the smiles, the laughs, the hugs, the loves- while he was here.

So here’s to you Awesome Dude. We’ll miss you and love you forever.
